Schumann, the german melody, and translations.

Between 2009-2012 I made files of research into the mid classical composers of Germany for many of the melodies interested me, there also included the salubrious idea that Robert Schumann used alliteration of cipher books to form the patterns or messages featured within his compositions.

A Mysticism was withheld probably by publishers agreement that one of the known texts Robert Schumann used was and is only available in the original German writing with no translation ever made available to non german readers. My pigeon german is okay, copy and pasting huge sections of text into google translate with no digital version online available seemed to be more daunting than useful so the idea was left in my ideas file & that's that, if the Killers "Mister Bright-side" comes on the radio it reminds me of the George Schilling Ode de Joy but there isn't much change in the publishers German only presently.

Music isn't like fiction or repeating one idea as another, each time the melody is played a variation in time or length possibly pitch is occurring , the Bach numbers is an interesting concept but it is not accredited by the composer himself, as opposed to the Schumann's , they freely admit they used parallel ciphering in building ordered melodies.

One of these days the text will be in English, I bet it's just as interesting as the Greeks reimagine of the vidic Sutras, (repetitive , out of date ) hope to make that decision for myself though if possible.
